♣ Blacksmith - Goal = take all iron cards, trade iron [swords] for gold / silver; ♣ = ♦
♣ Sheriff - Goal = prevent werewolves / thieves taking tricks - (can play iron ♣ out of suit)
♥- Doctor - Goal = collect blood cards (2s are wild for Doctor?) can play ♠ out of suit
♥+ Werewolf - Goal = give blood cards (can play blood out of suit) goes last upon reveal
♦ Thief - Goal = steal gold and silver cards (trade piles at eog?) / can trade ♥ for ♦? joker is low upon reveal? steal ♦ with ♣
♠ Barmaid / Bartender - Goal = exchange ale for gold and silver cards ♠ = ♦, starts game
♠ Town Drunk - Goal = collect ale cards ♠ = ♦
♥- Village Idiot - Goal = instead of dying, gives x ♥ to each non werewolf player instead
♦ Mayor - Goal = collect gold and silver cards, starts game, initiative, leadership
♣ Hunter - Goal = give blood to werewolf
♠ Butcher - Goal = trade meat for gold and silver / ♠ = ♦, if killed give 1 ♥ card to anyone
♠ Farmer / Baker - Goal = trade bread for gold and silver ♠ = ♦; if killed, shuffle farmers ♥ cards and deal to each non-warewolf player (players pick from them in clockwise order)
♣ Captain / Soldier - Goal = (2nd Sheriff) ♣ = ♦
♥- Scapegoat - Goal = collect blood ♥ = ♦
♥+ Witch / Gypsy - Goal = collect blood, give blood (saboteur), goes first upon reveal, Aces high or low
♦ Noble - Face cards are wild (low?) or ♦
♥+ Cultist -
Beggar - if zero tricks, may swap / get xg for each trick not taken / gets 1 ♦ card or 10 pts from each player at eog.
Alchemist - Aces high or low, may heal self with ♠ and ♣ of same number
Undertaker - may steal money if someone dies
Merchant's guild? (Baker, Brewer, Butcher, Blacksmith) may trade card for card at end of round?
Can claim to by any of above and take action. if bluff is called, suffer consequences. If not bluffing and called, take 1 card of choice from that player's pile at end of round.
(♣) Prevent: if played after a ♥, the ♥ card goes to whoever played it, sheriff keeps any ♦
